GOAL:

The goal of the Year Round Youth Program is to gain valuable work experience and academic skills training that will prepare the student for success in the workforce.

PARTICIPANTS:

Participants must:

• Be between the ages of 14 and 21
• Participate in the Luzerne County Workforce Investment Agency Summer Work Program
• Meet financial guidelines set by WIA

SERVICES:

• Career testing (Determine interests and aptitudes)
• Follow up services with LIU#18 Transition Specialists
• Linkage with Luzerne County Community College
• Mentoring and leadership training
